THE REALITY OF ANIMAL TESTING

It’s 2021, I believe we will fully accept that animal experimentation on cosmetics is unnecessary. Why is it still such a big business if that’s the case? Unfortunately, though we can all accept that it is needless, people are beings of choice who will buy whatever is in front of them without thinking about the ethical implications. Most people will gravitate towards Covergirl or Revlon when purchasing concealer or makeup at a drugstore since those are tried and true brands they know. It barely occurs to them that those brands got to where they are by torturing rats and other creatures.

Here are a few reasons why you should think about being more ethical when buying cosmetics:

Companies also persuaded us that animal testing is needed to determine if goods are suitable for human consumption. The reality is that there are viable alternatives to animal testing for ensuring the quality of food ingredients. Many firms, for example, have opted for in-vitro research, which has numerous benefits over animal testing. In fact, some countries, such as the EU, have decided to completely replace animal testing with in-vitro testing. There are also computer models and cultured cell tissues that can be used to replace animal testing.

Companies can choose from a list of over 7,000 ingredients that have been proven safe in previous testing to formulate their products. This eliminates the need for companies to test new ingredients on animals. Only companies that choose to conduct more animal ingredient testing do so in order to develop new, revolutionary ingredients and increase their profits. This is one of the benefits of using cruelty-free, organic, and vegan makeup. You’ll be able to trust the quality and morality of the ingredients used in your makeup.

Lab animals, on top of everything else, are not protected by any laws. Testing on lab animals is not considered abuse or cruelty in the eyes of those in charge of the industry and legislators. We work hard to keep pets safe, but lab rabbits, mice, dogs, cats, and other animals do not have the same protections. This alone is a compelling reason to purchase cruelty-free cosmetics.

While you may believe that including dogs and cats in the preceding paragraph was done for shock value, this is not the case. Dogs and cats, particularly beagles, are frequently used in animal testing. For many years, beagles have been a popular dog to test on due to their docile nature.

You can rest assured that all of our products are made using mainly natural ingredients and are free from parabens and potentially harmful chemicals, because companies that don’t want to harm animals, want to avoid hurting people too. Save the animals, and save your skin!

YOU CAN HELP END THE SUFFERING OF ANIMALS!

Socially isolated, confined in small cages, and subjected to cruel experiments, the animals used in experiments are socially isolated. All in the name of beauty, they are tortured, poisoned, blinded, burned, and eventually killed. These practices are not only unethical, but they are also inhumane. By purchasing cruelty-free products, you are supporting brands that are making a real difference in the fight to end the barbaric practice of animal testing. It’s fine if you were previously unaware of the cruelty of animal testing. Now that you know, you’ll be able to make better, more informed decisions that will have a significant impact on animals all over the world.
