Youtube

In honor of Black History Month, Youtube Spotlight has featured a new column on their channel known as #CreateBlackHistory. The spread is dedicated to informing the public about influential African American leaders in history. The column is both informative and engaging, as youtubers are involved in the process, sharing their thoughts and ideas on Black History Month through a series of videos. They discuss a broad range of topics; however, focusing on the overall theme of who they think will create black history. These videos are posted every day, for a span of twenty-eight days long, each by a different youtuber.

Buzzfeed

Although the website is mainly known for its entertainment value, the page includes non fiction reads, including an article on outstanding new young adult novels written by African American authors.

Scholastic

Scholastic helps to bring Black History Month to life through activities dedicated to commemorating African American poets and authors. The website lists twenty eight ideas for each day of Black History Month, complete with recipes, games, readings, and songs.
