On March 27th of this year, a clip was released of Billie Eilish on Ellen. In the clip, Billie was talking about how she always loved Justin Bieber and she really wanted to meet him. After joking back and forth about meeting Justin Bieber, a mysterious person jumps out of the table behind Eilish, startling everyone. The clip ended right as the man jumped out of the box. The full interview of Ellen and Eilish was released April 1st and we found out that the mystery person was just someone random. This was a tragic and funny April fools prank towards Billie. Other topics that were covered in this interview was Billie’s battle with  Tourette syndrome. This syndrome caused Eilish to have an outbreak of “tics”, which causes her to shake or jerk head and blink very fast. Billie said she could normally control her tics on camera, but one time there was a mistake where the editors didn’t cut them out and it caused a big joke on social media. A couple of weeks after many posts were made about her syndrome, Billie decided to open up about it on her Instagram story. Eilish and Ellen then had a conversation about her syndrome.

“I’m sitting there answering the questions and I’m like *TIC* and everyone’s like, ‘That’s so funny!’ ”

“It’s something I’ve lived with my whole life,”

“Everybody in my family, all my friends, all the people that are closest to me know I have it and it’s not anything different.”

“I just never said anything because I didn’t want that to define who I was,”

“I didn’t want it to be ‘Billie Eilish — the artist with Tourettes.’”

After Eilish and Ellen exchanged other stories, she performed an amazing performance of “When the party’s over”, and a song on her new album “When we all fall asleep where do we go”, which was released March 29, 2019.
