Covid vaccines

On August 23, 2021, Pfizer-Biotech Covid vaccines were granted approval by the FDA. With full permission of the FDA, the company was allowed to start marketing the vaccine with full name. Currently, at the White House, President Joe Biden says that they are trying to battle to fight over deadly sickness called COVID-19, “the progress we have made and have yet to do,” he remarks. There is a new virus that is coming called the Delta variant. It has been spoken about a lot. This is a virus much worse than the covid 19 in the past few years. We have never experienced things like this before, and even as the delta variant hits, we still have the tools to combat this virus. “We can come together as a country and use those tools,” Biden reclaims. America is a country that stays together and fights together. We can all combat these viruses together. People have to be responsible. To think this is truly unacceptable. People should get vaccinated and use their masks. Because they are not only protecting themselves, but they are also protecting their loved ones or the people they are near such as co-workers, colleagues, friends, and family.

Many people are still very frustrated with the results of vaccination rates, such as the people who have not yet been vaccinated. Even though we have clearly stated that the vaccines are safe, effective, and free, I want to emphasize that the vaccines provide effective protection, so why aren’t Americans getting vaccinated? “What are they waiting for? The week before I took office, on January 20th of this year, over 250,000 Americans died that week from Covid-19. Last week, that grimly weekly toll was down to 70 percent. Although we will still be in a tough stretch, because the delta variant, which I was warning you guys about back in July, spread in the late summer, which spread to other countries before us. We have had a lot of patience but our patience is running thin” President Joe Biden announces. So, President Biden has made a new federal mandate to everybody who has not yet been vaccinated because we have realized we still have yet a far way to come in terms of vaccinations but we need to speed up the process. Covid deaths among nursing home staff and residents have accounted for nearly one third of the nation’s pandemic fatalities as of June 1, 2021”.

A professor of health at Harvard Medical School, David Grabowsk said “Few nursing homes have mandates in place so far. While homes’ vaccination rates have ticked up slightly, the overall rate for nursing homes has hovered at just a little above 60 percent in the last couple of months even as the Delta Variant took hold and drove up new cases among staff and residents. The nursery home industry, which had been opposed to a mandate aimed specifically at it’s workers, favors the broader U.S mandate. The America Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said the risk of infection is eight times higher in the unvaccinated than the vaccinated, and the risk of hospitalization or death is 25 times higher. Over the summer, the delta mutations of SARS-CoV-2 took over in Japan and in many other parts of the world, on September 15th Japan had 20,901 confirmed delta infections nationwide following a spike by 5,238 cases within the week of Aug 30 to Sept 6. However, the officially reported figures are said to only reflect a portion of infection numbers given that not all viral samples are screened for all variants. The delta variant is also responsible for more than 98% of new coronavirus infections in the U.S.A high delta infection rate naturally brings about concerns over the effectiveness of existing vaccines and treatments, especially when taking into account the higher viral load seen with delta infections.

There was a recent study by researchers at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences also found that viral loads in delta infections are around 1,000 times higher than those caused by SARS-CoV-2 strains. Therefore, as the World Health Organization warns, a higher level of antibodies is needed to overcome delta compared to other variants like alpha. Therefore, as the World Health Organization warns, a higher level of antibodies is needed to overcome delta compared to other variants like alpha. Experts have stressed that being fully vaccinated is essential to developing full immunity against delta. Results of researchers published July 21, 2021 in the New England Journal of Medicine show that after one dose of either vaccine, the estimated effectiveness was lower against delta than against alpha, which had been prevalent before. “After two doses, however, vaccine effectiveness was high,” the researchers said.
