Grad parties: how to stay organized and attend them all

Grad+parties%3A+how+to+stay+organized+and+attend+them+all

As June approaches, Oakton’s seniors have started planning their grad parties. Facebook has been the largest invitation site used so far, as students can plan their parties and invite people accordingly. An important aspect of this exciting event season is how you can get around to all the parties you have been invited to! Nobody wants to hurt their friend’s feelings by choosing another party over theirs, so the best way to handle this situation is by making an organized calendar with dates and also times. Grad parties generally last about four to five hours and for those who plan to go from one party to the next the most common amount of time to spend at one single party is approximately a half hour. If you really can’t make it to a party, let the host know so that they aren’t expecting you and end up holding a grudge. Acceptable gifts to bring to a party differentiate depending on your relationship with the graduates themselves, but the most common gift is a congratulations card. Being overwhelmed by grad parties is easily fixed by staying organized and communicating with your friends. By doing this you will not only relieve your own stress but you will also make this one-time experience a memorable and fun one for your grad friends!
