A Winning Season
A new season for field hockey has come up quickly. The girls varsity Field Hockey team has so far made a positive impression, winning four out five games in the past month. A few changes in practices and teamwork have helped make this become reality.
Noelle Krautkramer, a senior on varsity, says, “The team has been practicing drills that are more focused on improving skills and foundations. We have also been working more collectively as a team on the field.” The team’s positive and lively environment helped too, of course.
According to Noelle, the exciting, but stressful game at Westfield has brought the team closer. Going into double overtime and then to a trying victory has definitely made a huge impact on the team and the way they are viewed. Noelle feels like her team has “exceeded any expectations,” set upon them.
Looking forward, exciting moments are to come for the girls Field Hockey team. Moments like themed Saturday’s. Every Saturday, the team shows up in different outfits or styles. Themes like Adam Sandler are a favorite among the team. Hoping for a memorable win at districts with her girls, Noelle predicts this season will go great thanks to the excitement and positivity of herself and her fellow teammates.
