Winter’s Trends

Winters Trends

Winter is the coldest season of the year and a lot of its most popular trends are drawn from efforts to stay comfortable in the cold weather; most famous: hot chocolate. Hot chocolate, a delicious drink, is enjoyed by many Americans. It is  seen as the typical beverage enjoyed after a fun day of frolicking in the snow. Another popular trend that is sharing the stage in the food and beverage industry is apple cider.  The popularity of it has gone up so much in the last few years that new variations of the typical apple cider drink have been introduced. Last year, for instance, cinnamon flavored cider was extremely popular.

During winter the style of people’s clothing changes as well. Certain style trends, like UGG boots, become way more popular. These trends are very warm and help combat the cold weather. They are very fashionable and look great with the majority of outfits. Another style that is becoming increasingly more prevalent:  sweaters. Sweaters are an awesome way to stay warm and show holiday spirit. Most popular variety of these sweaters contain designs of reindeers, Christmas trees, and other holiday oriented designs.

Another aspect of winter is the fact that there are a lot of fun activities that are exclusive to the season, most popular: skiing and snowboarding. Both of these activities are very popular and a lot of fun. Skiing and snowboarding are only offered really during these few months.

Another fun thing to do during this season is to go sledding. The awesome thing about sledding is that it can be done in a variety of places. For example it can be done in your backyard, your driveway, or even in the street. Overall winter is a truly unique season.

During winter try to make time for these fun activities, delectable treats, and delicious drinks. Happy Winter!
