It has been a crazy year thus far for all of us, but as 2016 winds to a close the Oakton community can finally look forward to a much-needed break! Schools across Fairfax County will be out from today, December 17th, until January 3rd, 2017, and the Oakton Outlook will also be observing a break over this period. While we rest, we will also be preparing some big plans for the next year, and look forward to covering all of the amazing stories in 2017 and beyond.

In the meantime, we hope that you all have a great break, and if you find yourself looking for a good read over the holidays we implore you to check out some of the other journalism we already have on this site!
