Rania Shah, Editorial Board
My name is Rania Shah, and this is my second year at Oakton High School as a sophomore. I am currently a member of the Editorial Board and have been a contributor to the Oakton Outlook for one year in total. Interests of mine include producing articles that consider current events in society and diverse news-related stories that showcase specific topics around the globe. I aspire to spread essential knowledge and perspectives through my writing pieces as a prolific author. Outside the boundaries of school, I spend my time reading, writing, volunteering, organizing, and socializing with friends. I compete in sports, including tennis, badminton, track, swim, volleyball, and taekwondo. My lifelong dream is to complete my education at Princeton University to become a neurosurgeon in the future in order to assist people in need and inspire others to do the same. To end, I am passionate about learning and pursuing new ideas throughout my high school years as not only a journalist but as a student as well.
